7-day Ski Vacation
 Jan. 31st - Feb. 8th
For the ski week we are headed to Canazei, Italy! Canazei is an amazing combination of skiing, après ski (happy hour), village charm all surrounded by incredible natural beauty. It receives rave reviews from every ski expert and on-line reviews. The village is well known for it's alpine charm, ancient winding roads and hand painted houses like something out of a fairy tale (see photo on left).Canazei is located in the spectacular Dolomiti Superski range which is unquestionably one of the top places in the world to ski. Canazeii is a combination of Italian and Austrian influences. Why the Austrian influence in Italy you ask? Canazeii is part of the Ladin region which was once controlled by Austria before World War I but is now a part of Italy. This region has managed to be both Italian and Austrian. The Italians know their food and the Austrians know how to party which is a perfect combo for our group!
 Let’s start with the skiing….
Canazei is located smack-dab in the middle of the Dolomite Superski region which is the second largest interconnected mountain area in the world. With over 750 miles of skiing and more than 450 lifts there is more skiing than anyone could possibly ski in one week (click here for the ski map) . The only thing grander than the scale of the Dolomites skiing is its natural beauty! The Dolomites are one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. They are so awe-inspiring that it is said that it could bring a grown man tears. The Dolomiti Superki area is home to one of the world’s greatest ski tours called the “Sella Ronda”. This is a ski tour that any skier that is a low intermediate or better can ski. The group will be taking this tour in which you will ski around the entire Sella Mountain which takes you through no less than thirteen different ski villages.
 The vistas are so mind-blowing that you will need to remind yourself to occasionally look down the mountain. It will be an an unforgettable experience and will easily be one of the best ski days of your life! Here is a link to the birds eye view of the Sella Ronda ski map
Now, let's discuss après ski (happy hour)...Canazei will not disappoint you as it is Italy's top après ski village. The village comes alive starting at 3:30pm with bars filling up both on and off the mountain. Dancing on tables in your ski boots is expected and the partying doesn’t stop until the wee hours of the morning. There is nothing like this in the U.S. Almost anything goes...it is borderline wild!
 Our hotel has a great location in the center of the village just steps from all of the nightlife, restaurants and just a few minutes to the main ski lift. We will be able to stumble home after an afternoon of après ski or a night out in the village. Additionally, you will also have the option to take a day trip to Venice, Italy! Venice is one of the most amazing cities in the world.The history, architecture, rivers and famous gondola rides make it a totally unique destination. We will start our tour with a water-taxi ride up the coast of Venice then you will then have the day to tour and discover Venice on your own.This is one of the best day trips we have ever been able to offer!
After a successful and fun introductory year, the Costume Day up on the mountain will make a return! New for 2014 will be a themed bar crawl, Blackout Thursday, and any other suggestion you may have for the group is more than welcomed. As the tip motto goes..."We never let skiing get in the way of a good ski trip!"

AMALFI COAST, ITALY
3-day Vacation Extension

If skiing in the Italian Dolomites wasn’t enough beauty for you then prepare yourself for the Amalfi Coast of Italy!. It has been on our short-list for many years and we are thrilled that we finally are able to offer this extension! The Amalfi coast needs little introduction other than to say it is one of the most beautiful coastlines on earth.
This coastal region is complete with dramatic landscape of limestone cliffs, snaking roads that connect tiny towns full of incredible history that date back to before 1 B.C.! The whitewashed villas perched on top of hills are a sight to behold. For our stay we have chosen to base the group in the Amalfi Coasts most famous town of Sorrento, Italy because of its beauty, history
 and central location to all of the major sights along the
Amalfi Coast. Sorrento is within easy reach by local bus or train to Pompeii, Naples, Positano, the ruins of Herculean and boats leave daily to the Island of Capri!.
As an added bonus expect typical mild coastal weather with an average high temp of 57 degrees this time of year. This is perfect touring weather. The Amalfi Coast offers you a great opportunity to soak up history, coastal beauty and some relaxing time with a good plate of homemade pasta and some vino while overlooking the Gulf of Naples. The Amalfi Coast hasit all and this extension definitely should not be missed!

The price on this flight may fluctuate with the market So we advise everyone to sign up and pay the deposit for the trip as soon as you are decide to go on the trip. This will allow us to offer you the best flight pricing. The price listed above does not reflect any additional air cost that may be incurred due to fluctuation in the air price for the extension only. We don’t anticipate a major increase over time.
